In our practice we only use bovine and human bone substitute material. If the jawbone is not physiologically stressed, it will degrade. Since this means that dental prostheses such as removable full dentures are not possible, the bone must be built up with bone substitute material at these points. Only in this way can implants be used as the basis for further prosthetic restorations.
